01Overview
The mini ubers are the first uber bosses most characters fight. Three keys open a portal to one of them, and each drops one organ. The three organs make the Pandemonium Talisman for Uber Tristram, which in turn leads to Diablo Clone.
They are single bosses with high elemental resistances and no special phases: if your character clears early maps and can lower or ignore elemental resistances, it can kill them.

The Spire of Darkness map event also drops uber keys, up to six per event. Keys stack in the Ubers tab of the Season 14 stash and trade easily.
To open a portal, cube one key of each kind in Harrogath on Hell difficulty. A random one of the three mini-uber areas opens: Matron's Den (Lilith), the Forgotten Sands (Uber Duriel) or the Furnace of Pain (Uber Izual). The same area never opens twice in one game, so three key sets in one game open all three.

04How to win
- Break their resistances. 90% fire, cold and lightning resistance is not immunity, so resistance reduction works in full: Conviction (for example from an Infinity mercenary), Lower Resist, and pierce from gear, jewels and corruptions. Without any of it, elemental builds deal a fraction of their normal damage. Physical and magic damage only face 50% resistance.
- Resist the right element. Lilith deals poison damage: stack poison resistance and carry antidote potions. Uber Izual's Frost Nova is cold damage. Overcap the element you are fighting rather than only reaching 75%.
- Fight Uber Duriel at range if you can. His melee hits hard, and his Holy Freeze slows your movement, so it is easy to get caught. Melee builds want life leech, high block or damage reduction and potions on the belt.
Not your build's fight?
Keys and organs are among the most traded items in PD2. A mapper that struggles here can sell or trade its keys, and a strong boss killer can buy key sets and sell the organs or the finished Pandemonium Talisman.
05Rewards
Each mini uber drops its organ and a few high-level items. Cube Diablo's Horn, Baal's Eye and Mephisto's Brain together into a Pandemonium Talisman and take it to the Blood Fountain in Harrogath to open Uber Tristram.
