Venom Blade Sentinel Assassin -- PD2 Season 14 Guide

01Overview

Season 14 rating

hiimpd2 S14 solo: Top (Blade Sentinel (Venom)); Blade Sentinel (Phys): Decent. hiimpd2 S14 bossing: Easy/Easy (T0/T2) at Vision of Terror, Voidstone and Shadow of Hatred. hiimpd2 S14 starter list: yes
hiimpd2's Season 14 solo mapping list rates Blade Sentinel (Venom) Top, with a Sewers of Harrogath clear of 3:27 (recorded in S12). The physical version is rated Decent. On hiimpd2's S14 bossing list, Blade Sentinel is Easy at T0 and T2 for all three pinnacle fights: Vision of Terror (Diablo Clone), Voidstone (Rathma) and Shadow of Hatred (Lucion). Few builds manage that. It is also on hiimpd2's S14 starter list, tagged Chaos, Early Map, Key Farming and Uber Tristram. On hiimpd2's group (physical P8) list it is only Mid, and it is not part of the build tiers on Odealo's S14 tier list (2026-09-28). Odealo does have a separate Blade Sentinel guide (2026-09-29, written before launch) that focuses on the physical version. Season 14 did not touch Blade Sentinel, Venom or Cobra Strike. The one big change is that Shadow Warrior now casts your active Assassin buffs (including Venom) by itself. S14 runs like Gico's 1-Assassin hardcore T2 Diablo Clone kill (2026-10-25) show the build is still strong.

Summary

Blade Sentinel puts a spinning blade between you and your cursor. It patrols back and forth for about 2 seconds and hits everything it touches every 5 frames. On paper it is a physical trap skill: it deals 100% of your weapon damage plus a small flat skill damage. The PD2 community found that it also carries Venom. Venom is a Shadow Disciplines buff that adds a large amount of poison to your weapon hits, so every pass of every blade poisons the monsters it touches.
The second part of the engine is Shadow Warrior. The shadow uses whatever skills you have on left and right click and, since Season 14, casts your active Assassin buffs (Venom, Burst of Speed, Fade, Blade Shield) by itself. With Blade Sentinel bound, your shadow throws its own Venom-loaded blades. Content creator TDL explains that shadows apply their own poison instance as pets, on top of yours. Whispering Mirage and the full Natalya's Odium set each add one extra shadow, so the endgame setup has up to three shadows filling the screen with blades.
That is why the build is a bossing specialist. You stand at range, blades stack up on the boss, and poison does the work while shadows pull aggro. hiimpd2 rates it Easy at both T0 and T2 for Diablo Clone, Rathma and Lucion. It is also a Top-tier mapper: blades go through whole packs, and Dragon Flight jumps you from pack to pack.
Damage type: mostly poison (Venom, boosted by Cobra Strike's +14% per level synergy and Venom Grip's poison skill damage), plus a physical part from the blades (weapon damage, Claw and Dagger Mastery, Blade Fury synergy). Who it is for: players who want a safe ranged Assassin that kills ubers and pinnacle bosses on modest gear, can start the season (hiimpd2 starter list) and is fine with poison immunes needing a plan. Physical alternative: Hiim's 'Blade Sentinel (Phys)' planner and Odealo's guide max Blade Sentinel, Blade Fury and Blade Shield and scale weapon damage and Deadly Strike instead. hiimpd2 rates that version Decent, so this guide covers it only as an option in the FAQ.

What works

  • hiimpd2 S14: Easy at T0 and T2 on all three pinnacle bosses (Diablo Clone, Rathma, Lucion). Very few builds do that.
  • Top-tier solo mapper (hiimpd2 S14 solo list) with Dragon Flight mobility.
  • Ranged and safe. Shadows pull aggro, and Weapon Block plus Natalya's Odium's 20% physical damage reduction add defense. Hardcore players have shown T0 to T2 Diablo Clone kills (AnderwGG, Ruffales, Gico).
  • Cheap core: two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword claws, Venom Grip and Venom Ward (Hiim's base planner). The Natalya's Odium set and Whispering Mirage are mid-priced uniques/sets, not Ber Rune-rune items.
  • Poison ignores physical resistance. In TDL's videos the build kills the Uber Tristram bosses and Diablo Clone with modest gear.

What to plan around

  • Poison immune monsters need a plan: -poison resistance gear, a merc with a Lower Resist proc (TDL) or a physical merc. Your blades' physical part is small.
  • Blade placement matters. Blades patrol between you and your cursor, so a badly placed line wastes damage (Odealo).
  • Odealo: Crushing Blow, Open Wounds, life leech and chance-to-cast-on-striking effects do not work through Blade Sentinel. You have no leech from your main skill.
  • Not a day-1 build. Venom needs clvl 30 and the Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword needs a Mal Rune rune (clvl 49). Most players level another way and respec (see leveling).
  • Several mechanics are not shown in the tooltips: shadow skill levels, cast-time Venom snapshots, poison instances. Hardly any of it is written in official docs; much of it comes from community testing (TDL, Discord theorycrafters).
  • Group play is only Mid on hiimpd2's physical P8 list. This is a solo and bossing build.

Playstyle

Pre-buff Venom (and Burst of Speed/Fade) once, summon your Shadow Warriors, then hold Blade Sentinel on the cursor across the pack or boss. Each cast throws a blade from you towards the cursor, and your shadows throw their own. Use Dragon Flight to jump to the next pack.
Rotation
  • In town or before the fight, swap to your +skill weapon switch (Hiim: Call to Arms + Lidless Wall). Cast Battle Orders/Battle Command, then Venom, Burst of Speed and Fade. Venom's poison is calculated when you cast it, so the extra levels stay after you swap back (PD2 wiki).
  • Swap back and summon Shadow Warrior. With Whispering Mirage and the full Natalya's set you can have up to three shadows. TDL: recast them every game so they take aggro correctly.
  • Put Blade Sentinel on left click (and right click). Shadows copy the two skills you have bound, so make sure Blade Sentinel is one of them.
  • Spam Blade Sentinel with the cursor behind the pack, so blades run through the whole group and explode where they turn back.
  • Recast Venom before it expires and after picking up +skill items. Dragon Flight (cooldown 1 second at level 24, wiki) to the next pack.
Positioning: Blades run between you and the cursor at 24 yards per second (wiki), so stand at the edge of the pack and point through it. Blades explode when they turn around (75% weapon damage area hit), so a cursor just behind the target gives you both the patrol hits and the explosion. Let shadows and the merc tank. TDL keeps Weapon Block at 45% or more for melee hits.
Bossing: Bossing is the build's main selling point. hiimpd2 S14 rates it Easy at T0 and T2 for Diablo Clone (Vision of Terror), Rathma (Voidstone) and Lucion (Shadow of Hatred), and TDL's S12 T0 Diablo Clone kill is the reference video. Stand at range, keep a dense line of blades on the boss and keep Venom and shadows up. TDL: 'Shadows apply their own poison instance as pets, so filling the screen with Blade Sentinels dramatically increases damage uptime.' Guardian's S12 T2 Diablo Clone kill opens the fight with a Malice claw on swap: its -100 monster defense per hit stays on the boss for the whole fight and makes the blades hit more often, then he switches back. Follow hiimpd2's resistance targets: Diablo Clone fire 90% and fire absorb (T2: 12%), PDR 25%/50%; Lucion lightning 90%, PDR 50%; Rathma all-res overcap 25/33%, poison and cold 85-90%.
Mapping: Venom Sentinel is a Top solo mapper on hiimpd2 (Sewers of Harrogath 3:27, S12). TDL clears Throne of Insanity in about 5:30 with full Natalya's set, Whispering Mirage, Venom Grip, Shadow GCs, Hellfire Torch and Annihilus, and Arcamino shows T1-T3 maps and an 8-player Throne of Insanity. Chain Dragon Flight through clustered packs, spam blades behind each pack and keep moving. Poison keeps ticking after you leave. Avoid or skip maps with many poison immunes until you have -poison resistance and a Lower Resist merc.

Skill order

  • Respec at clvl 49-50 (Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword claws): 1 point each in prerequisites, Blade Sentinel, Blade Fury, Blade Shield
  • Max Venom (main damage)
  • Cobra Strike (Venom synergy, +14% per hard level) and Shadow Warrior (shadows' Venom and Sentinel level) together, both to 20 by clvl ~70
  • Max Claw and Dagger Mastery (attack rating, physical) -> Hiim's base planner at clvl 78
  • With endgame + skills (Whispering Mirage, Natalya's set, Mentalist's grand charms): Token respec to Hiim's endgame, Shadow Warrior 2, Blade Sentinel 20
  • Blade Fury to 10 (Sentinel synergy), Burst of Speed 3, Weapon Block 2, 1 point Dragon Flight (+ skills raise it towards 24 for a 1-second cooldown)

Synergies

What each skill does (S14 data and PD2 wiki):
  • Venom (Shadow Disciplines, clvl 30) is a buff that adds poison to your weapon damage. Every weapon-based hit applies a 1-second poison. Its only synergy is Cobra Strike, +14% poison damage per hard level, so 20 Cobra Strike = +280%. The wiki adds that Venom's poison is calculated from the base value and synergy when you cast it, so +skills on your weapon switch at cast time stay in. Poison skill damage from gear (Venom Grip, poison Rainbow Facets, Infectious large charms) applies on every hit. Venom's 1-second length overrides the length of poison from other items.
  • Blade Sentinel (Traps, clvl 6, no prerequisite) is classified as a summoned creature. It deals 100% weapon damage plus flat skill damage, hits every 5 frames for about 2 seconds, and explodes for 75% weapon damage when it changes direction. Because it uses your weapon damage, it also carries Venom's poison. Each level also raises its attack rating bonus (+100 and +325% at level 20, wiki), which matters because poison is only applied on a hit. Synergies: Blade Fury and Blade Shield, +12% physical damage per level.
  • Shadow Warrior (clvl 18) uses the two skills you have on left and right click. Since S14 it also casts your active Assassin buffs, including Venom. The shadow's skill level is (Shadow Warrior level / 3) + (used skill's level / 2) (wiki). Since S13, traps cast by a shadow belong to the shadow and use its weapon and stats. TDL: each shadow applies its own poison instance. Whispering Mirage and the full Natalya's Odium set add one shadow each.
  • Claw and Dagger Mastery (20 = +325% damage, +220% attack rating, wiki) is the attack rating and physical part. A S12 patch note confirms it applies to the Sentinel's collision hit; Odealo maxes it for attack rating, physical damage and critical strike.
  • Burst of Speed gives trap-laying speed from hard points (wiki). Weapon Block blocks with dual claws (TDL: aim for 45%+). Dragon Flight is the mobility skill (cooldown 2 seconds, 1 second at level 24). Blade Shield and Fade are buffs your shadow also casts.
Two hard-point plans exist. Hiim's starter/base planner (clvl 78) maxes Venom, Cobra Strike, Claw and Dagger Mastery and Shadow Warrior and keeps Blade Sentinel at 1. Nearly all damage comes from Venom, and the shadows' Venom level depends on Shadow Warrior. Hiim's endgame planner (clvl 95) and TDL keep Venom, Cobra Strike and Claw and Dagger Mastery at 20 and also max Blade Sentinel (TDL: Shadow Warrior reaches level 20 from + skills alone). Hiim adds 10 Blade Fury as a Sentinel synergy. That plan relies on Whispering Mirage (+1-2 Shadow Warrior, +2 Assassin skills), Natalya's set and Mentalist's (+1 Shadow Disciplines) grand charms to raise Shadow Warrior.

About these skill plans

  • Venom Sentinel respec (level 50): 57 points = 49 from levels + 8 quest points (Normal and Nightmare quests). This is the first allocation after respeccing from the class leveling build (see leveling), once you can run Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword claws (Mal Rune rune, clvl 49). Every point in Venom; Cobra Strike and Shadow Warrior follow; 1-point prerequisites and the Blade Sentinel/Blade Fury/Blade Shield singles as in Hiim's base planner. The exact split between Cobra Strike and Shadow Warrior at this level is our interpolation towards Hiim's clvl 78 planner, not a published allocation.
  • Starter / early endgame - Hiim's base planner (level 78): 89 points = 77 from levels + 12 quest points, exactly Hiim's S14 'Blade Sentinel - Starter' base planner: 20 Venom, 20 Cobra Strike, 20 Claw and Dagger Mastery, 20 Shadow Warrior, single points in Blade Sentinel, Blade Fury and Blade Shield plus prerequisites. Blade Sentinel stays at 1 because damage comes from Venom poison (and from the shadow, whose Venom level grows with Shadow Warrior). Gear: two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword Runic Talons (the runeword shares its name with the skill), Venom Grip, Venom Ward.
  • Endgame - Hiim's 'Blade Sentinel (Venom)' (level 95): 106 points = 94 from levels + 12 quest points, exactly Hiim's S14 Venom planner: 20 Venom, Cobra Strike, Claw and Dagger Mastery and Blade Sentinel, 10 Blade Fury (+12% Sentinel physical damage per level), 3 Burst of Speed, 2 Weapon Block, 2 Shadow Warrior, Dragon Flight with its prerequisite chain. Moving from the base planner needs a respec (Token of Absolution): 18 Shadow Warrior points move into Blade Sentinel/Blade Fury/Dragon Flight. Whispering Mirage, Natalya's set and 9 Mentalist's grand charms bring Shadow Warrior back up with + skills. TDL's endgame is the same: Venom, Cobra Strike, Blade Sentinel and Claw and Dagger Mastery maxed, Shadow Warrior at 20 through + skills, Dragon Flight at level 24 from + skills.

Dealing with immunities

Poison immunes are the build's weak point. Sources and community fixes:
  • -enemy poison resistance: the Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword (-20-30% per claw), Venom Ward (-6-12%), poison Rainbow Facets (-3-5% each). In PD2, resistance reduction works at half effectiveness on immune monsters, so the Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune claws help break weaker immunities. In maps, unmodified immunes are capped at 120 poison resistance (S13 patch note).
  • Lower Resist proc merc: TDL's bossing merc is an Act 1 Vigor rogue with Pus Spitter, whose Lower Resist proc lowers poison resistance. Joe's S14 beta video uses an Act 5 merc with Madness (Sur Rune + Mal Rune + Vex Rune + Shael Rune; Lower Resist and Amplify Damage procs) and 'kills poison immune skellies EZ'.
  • Physical backup: blades still deal 100% weapon damage plus Claw and Dagger Mastery and (endgame) 10 Blade Fury synergy. That is slow against poison immunes but non-zero. Hiim's merc adds Static Field.
  • Skip: in maps, skip packs that are poison immune and stone skin. Pick maps without many poison immunes until your -res and merc are in place (our advice, not from a source).

03Stats

Strength and Dexterity for the claws and set pieces, rest into Vitality, no Energy.
AttributeRecommendation
StrengthEnough for gear. Hiim's endgame planner uses 103 points (123 base). With Natalya's Totem (+15-20) and Mara's Kaleidoscope (+4-6), that reaches the 149 Strength of Natalya's Shadow (Loricated Mail) with good rolls. The base planner needs 115 Strength for Runic Talons.
DexterityOnly for requirements. Hiim's endgame uses 42 points (62 base). Natalya's Totem (+25-30), Raven Frost (+15-20) and Mara's Kaleidoscope (+4-6) add up to the 118 Dexterity of Natalya's Mark (Scissors Suwayyah). The base planner puts Dexterity to 115 for Runic Talons. Odealo: only shield users chasing max block need more.
VitalityEverything else. Hiim's endgame: 340 points at clvl 95. Hiim's base planner does not allocate Vitality (an imported old planner), so put the rest into Vitality there too.
EnergyNone (Hiim, Odealo). Mana comes from Natalya's set mana steal and Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword mana steal. Blade Sentinel costs only 3.5 mana (wiki).

04Leveling

Leveling plan

No community source levels a Venom Sentinel from level 1 with a written route. Venom needs clvl 30, the Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword needs Mal Rune (clvl 49), and hiimpd2's starter entry is a clvl 78 base planner. The practical route is the class leveling guide (Fire Blast -> Wake of Fire traps) until you can afford two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune claws, then one respec into Venom/Cobra Strike/Shadow Warrior. Odealo notes the physical version can be leveled straight with Blade Sentinel from level 6, Blade Fury and Blade Shield, which is an option if you have a strong claw. Keep 1 point in Burst of Speed and Claw and Dagger Mastery from the trap route, because both are Venom prerequisites.
Switching to your main skill: Blade Sentinel plus Venom become the main attack at the respec (around clvl 49-50, when two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword claws are available; Venom itself unlocks at 30). Before that, use the class guide's fire traps. The respec timing is not stated by a community source; Hiim's starter planner sits at clvl 78.
Respec: Two respecs: (1) clvl ~49-50 from fire traps into Venom Sentinel. Use Akara's free respec (one per difficulty, after Den of Evil) or a Token of Absolution (Twisted, Charged, Burning and Festering essences from act bosses in Nightmare/Hell). (2) Optional at endgame: Token of Absolution to move from Hiim's base planner (Shadow Warrior 20) to Hiim's endgame planner (Blade Sentinel 20, Blade Fury 10).

Other ways to level

  • Fire Blast -> Wake of Fire -> Wake of Inferno (fire Trapsin): Community standard: Fire Blast is the strongest early AoE (Maxroll), Wake of Fire takes over at 12 and carries the rest of the game (Odealo, hiimpd2 S14 Top tier). In PD2 Wake of Fire fires 5 waves per trap, you can have up to 5 traps, and its synergies (Fire Blast and Wake of Inferno, +8% each per level per S14 data) are the same skills Hiim's endgame planners max - so leveling points are never wasted. Not needed for Wake of Fire - the leveling skills are Hiim's endgame skills. D2R guides (Maxroll) respec to Lightning/Death Sentry at Act 4 Nightmare; in PD2 only do that if you want a lightning endgame. Respec at endgame to rebalance utility points (e.g. Shadow Warrior/Dragon Flight per Hiim's dagger planners). Exception: Venom Blade Sentinel (builds/ass-blade-sentinel.json) respecs once at about clvl 49, when two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune claws are possible (Mal Rune needs clvl 49; Venom itself unlocks at clvl 30), into Venom, Cobra Strike and Shadow Warrior towards Hiim's 'Blade Sentinel - Starter' base planner. Use Akara's Nightmare or Hell respec (keep one unused) or a Token of Absolution. The ~49 timing is our reading of those level requirements; no source names a level.
  • Lightning traps (Charged Bolt Sentry -> Lightning Sentry / Chain Lightning Sentry): hiimpd2 lists Chain Lightning Sentry as an S14 starter build and Hiim's starter planner uses dual Cunning claws with lightning traps. Lightning Sentry also receives +16% per Fire Blast level, so the early Fire Blast phase is shared. If you want to end as a Chain Lightning Sentry Assassin, or as the classic vanilla-style respec target in Nightmare (Maxroll respecs to Lightning/Death Sentry at Act 4 Nightmare).
  • Mind Blast (Psychic Hammer -> Mind Blast): philanthropy777's S13 Assassin progression guide uses Mind Blast as the Day 1 build, and the PD2 wiki hosts several Mind Blast guides with leveling notes (Nadir/Stealth, Countess runes). If you prefer a shadow-discipline caster that needs almost no gear; respec to traps later with a Token of Absolution.
  • Venom Blade Sentinel (respec at ~clvl 49): hiimpd2's S14 starter list includes Blade Sentinel (Chaos, early maps, key farming, Uber Tristram), and the starter is the Venom version: Hiim's 'Blade Sentinel - Starter' base planner (clvl 78) dual-wields two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword claws and maxes Venom, Cobra Strike and Shadow Warrior, with single points in Blade Sentinel, Blade Fury and Blade Shield; Blade Sentinel deals the weapon damage and Venom adds the poison. Venom needs clvl 30 and the runeword needs Mal Rune (clvl 49), so no source levels it from level 1: level with this guide's fire-trap route and respec once you have both claws (see the Blade Sentinel build guide, builds/ass-blade-sentinel.json). Odealo's option for the physical version is to level straight with Blade Sentinel from clvl 6, plus Blade Fury and Blade Shield, which needs a strong claw. Your endgame target is Venom Blade Sentinel: keep the fire-trap route until about clvl 49, keep the 1-point Burst of Speed and Claw and Dagger Mastery (both Venom prerequisites), collect two each of Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune, then respec. Pick Odealo's physical Blade Sentinel/Blade Fury leveling only if you already have a strong claw.

The Venom skill replaces the item poison length with its own 1 second, but the -poison resistance applies to every hit. How to get: Tal Rune + Dol Rune + Mal Rune in a 3-socket claw. Mal Rune is the clvl 49 rune. Hiim uses Runic Talons (115 Str/Dex); any 3-socket claw works if you only need the runeword stats.
    • AlternativeVenomSame runeword on a lower-requirement claw (79 Str/Dex) for clvl 49-60. Runeword stats do not depend on the base.
  • 2nd HandVenomHiim dual-wields two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune claws. The -poison resistance from both claws adds up, and dual claws let you use Weapon Block. How to get: Second Tal Rune + Dol Rune + Mal Rune.
    • AlternativeRare Greater TalonsUntil you have a second Mal Rune: a rare Greater Talons (clvl 37 base) with +3 Shadow Disciplines (S14: the 'Shadow' prefix can now drop on rare claws) raises Venom and Shadow Warrior; 40% IAS from 'of Quickness'. +3 Shadow Disciplines and +2 Assassin skills ('Witch-hunter's') share one affix group, so a claw has only one of them.
  • HelmNatalya's TotemOdealo: Natalya's Totem fits inexpensive full-set progression. It has +15-20 Str, +25-30 Dex for claw requirements, 10-20 all res, and it is the first piece of the 4-piece set you want later. How to get: Set drop / trade (Grim Helm, clvl 59).
    • AlternativeRare CoronetBudget: +2 Shadow Disciplines ('Psychic', the version that can roll on rares) raises Venom and Shadow Warrior, plus life and Dexterity on a Coronet. The +3 'Shadow' prefix is magic-only on circlets, so a +3 circlet carries just one suffix (life or Dexterity).
  • ArmorVenom WardHiim's base planner: -6-12% enemy poison resistance, +40-60 poison resistance, +5-8 max poison resistance, 50% poison length reduction. Cheap (Breast Plate, clvl 20). How to get: Random drop / trade.

  • GlovesVenom GripIn every Venom planner and TDL video: +10-15% poison skill damage (applies to every Venom hit), 30 poison res, +5 max poison res, 2-4% life steal. How to get: Random drop / trade (Demonhide Gloves, clvl 29).
  • BeltString of EarsOdealo: 10-15% physical damage reduction, magic damage reduction. Its leech does not work through Blade Sentinel, so you wear it for the damage reduction. How to get: Random drop / trade (Demonhide Sash, clvl 29).
  • BootsNatalya's SoulOdealo calls it an excellent transitional boot: 40% FRW, cold/lightning res, clvl 25. It is also a set piece for later. How to get: Set drop / trade (Mesh Boots).
  • AmuletRare AmuletOption A: rare with +2 Shadow Disciplines, all resistances, Strength, Dexterity and life. Odealo: a rare/crafted Assassin amulet with skills, attributes and resistances. On a rare the best skill prefix before clvl 67 is +2 Shadow Disciplines ('Psychic'); 'Witch-hunter's' (+2 Assassin skills, clvl 67) and the Shadow Disciplines prefixes share one affix group, so pick one. The +3 'Shadow' prefix is magic-only, so it cannot come together with resistances and attributes: that is Option B (magic, one suffix). How to get: Rare drops, Anya gambling, or a Caster/Blood craft (wiki Crafting).
    • AlternativeShadow Amulet of the WhaleOption B: magic +3 Shadow Disciplines with life (no resistances). Cheapest way to raise Venom and Shadow Warrior: +3 Shadow Disciplines (magic-only prefix, clvl 45) plus one life suffix.
  • RingRaven FrostOdealo and Hiim: cannot be frozen, +150-250 attack rating (blades must hit to poison), +15-20 Dex. How to get: Random drop / trade (clvl 45).
  • RingRare RingOdealo: rare rings with attack rating, attributes and resistances (blades need AR to apply poison). Strength and Dexterity are different affix groups on rings, so both can roll next to life. How to get: Rare drops / trade.

Charms

Hiim's Venom planner uses a Hellfire Torch, Annihilus and 9 Mentalist's grand charms (+1 Shadow Disciplines: raises Venom and Shadow Warrior). The small charms are Shimmering (all res) and fire/cold resistance small charms of Vita (life). TDL runs 'five Shadow skillers' and resistance charms. Odealo's physical version prefers Entrapping (+1 Traps) grand charms instead. Hellfire Torch and Annihilus are one-per-character uniques.
  • Grand charms: Mentalist's (+1 to Shadow Disciplines) - Hiim uses 9; best secondaries: life (of Substinence/of Vita) or FHR (of Balance); Entrapping (+1 to Traps) only for the physical version (Odealo, Hiim's Phys planner)
  • Large charms: Infectious (+3% poison skill damage) - Odealo's optional poison large charm; Hiim and TDL use none
  • Small charms: Shimmering (all resistances +3-5), with 'of Vita' life if possible; Ruby (fire resistance +10-11) of Vita (+16-20 life); Sapphire (cold resistance +10-11) of Vita (+16-20 life); of Balance (5% FHR) to reach 48/86% FHR
  • Hellfire Torch: Assassin Hellfire Torch: random +class skills, attributes, all res (Hiim; TDL notes he forgot to swap his Hellfire Torch in for Diablo Clone).
  • Annihilus: +1 all skills, attributes, all res (Hiim).

Socket fillers

  • armor (Natalya's Shadow, 1-3 sockets): Rainbow Facet -- TDL: 'a few poison facets'. Each poison facet adds +3-5% poison skill damage and -3-5% enemy poison resistance (S14 data). Both apply to every Venom hit.
  • armor (Natalya's Shadow): Rainbow Facet -- Same poison stats; the death/level-up variant does not matter for you.
  • any socket while gearing: Um Rune -- Resistances in armor/helms (standard filler) if you are short on resistances for Diablo Clone/Lucion targets. This is a common filler, not from a Venom-specific source.

06Mercenary

Which mercenary

Act 3 -- Lightning (Holy Shock aura; casts Static Field)
Aura: Holy Shock; his Exile adds Defiance, Ondal's Almighty procs Weaken, Exile procs Decrepify
Hiim's S14 Venom planner uses an Act 3 Iron Wolf of the Lightning type. In S14 his Static Field also reduces maximum life by 8% (range now 16), which helps on bosses, and Skyfall gives +2-3 Static Field. The PD2 wiki confirms Act 3 mercs can wear shields including paladin shields, so he carries an ethereal Exile for Defiance and Decrepify procs, plus Ondal's Almighty for Weaken procs. Your damage is poison, so the merc's job is defense, curses and Static Field, not damage.
Alternatives
  • Act 2 Defensive (Defiance): TDL's mapping merc (Throne of Insanity video): Purity, Ondal's Almighty for Weaken procs and Shaftstop for physical damage reduction 'for aggressive Dragon Flight gameplay'. Odealo also recommends an Act 2 Defensive merc (with The Reaper's Toll or Pride (Cham Rune + Sur Rune + Io Rune + Lo Rune) for the physical version). This is also the easy leveling/early merc (Insight).
  • Act 1 Fire (Vigor aura): TDL's bossing merc for Uber Tristram and Diablo Clone: an Act 1 Vigor rogue with PDR, cannot be frozen and Pus Spitter, whose Lower Resist proc lowers poison resistance and breaks poison immunity. That directly raises Venom damage.

07Breakpoints

StatBreakpointsAim forNotes
FCR (cast rate)0816274265102174None neededAssassin. Blade Sentinel is cast with the trap-laying animation, which uses attack speed. FCR only speeds up Venom/Burst of Speed/Fade/Shadow Warrior casts. Whispering Mirage gives 10% FCR anyway.
FHR (hit recovery)071527488620048% baseline, 86% nice (Odealo)Assassin. Sources: Verdungo's (10%), FHR small/grand charms of Balance. Bartuc's Cut-Throat (30%) and Crown of Ages (30%) are Odealo's physical-version sources.
IAS (attack speed)Total attack speed 0/8/15/24/34/47/61 = 15/14/13/12/11/10/9 frames (PD2 wiki)61 total (9 frames)Assassin - Bow, Thrown, Traps table (trap laying). Odealo: with a -30 WSM claw (Greater/Runic Talons), 42% IAS reaches 9 frames without Burst of Speed; 12% IAS is enough with 1 point in Burst of Speed; about 3 points remove the need for gear IAS. Hiim's endgame uses 3 Burst of Speed plus Natalya's Mark's 40% IAS. Burst of Speed's attack speed only counts hard points (wiki). Effective item IAS = 120 x IAS / (120 + IAS), so 40% IAS counts as 30. With dual claws, the wiki says breakpoints follow the 'faster' weapon; use hiimpd2's IAS calculator for your exact pair.
FBR (block rate)0133286600Weapon Block chance 45%+ (TDL)Assassin. Weapon Block needs dual claws. TDL pushes it to at least 45%; Hiim keeps 2 hard points and relies on + skills.
FRW (run/walk)—Natalya's Soul (40%), Burst of Speed, and Dragon Flight for pack-to-pack jumps (cooldown 2 seconds base, 1 second at level 24 via soft points; TDL raises it to 24).

08Tips & Tricks

Tips

  • Cast Venom while wearing your +skill switch (Hiim: Call to Arms + Lidless Wall, +1 all skills each). The wiki says Venom's poison is calculated when cast, so the bonus stays after you swap back.
  • Bind Blade Sentinel to both left and right click. Shadow Warrior copies the two skills you have bound (wiki); a shadow with Burst of Speed on right click wastes its turn.
  • TDL: recast your shadows every game, or they will not take aggro correctly.
  • Aim the cursor just past the target. Blades explode for 75% weapon damage when they turn (no more than once per 12 frames), and they patrol the whole line in between.
  • Attack rating matters: poison only applies on a hit. Claw and Dagger Mastery (+220% at 20), Blade Sentinel's own AR bonus (+325% at 20), Raven Frost and ignore-defense from Natalya's Mark and the Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword all help.
  • Guardian's T2 Diablo Clone trick: open with a Malice claw on switch (-100 monster defense per hit) until the boss's defense is near zero, then swap back.
  • Max Cobra Strike even though you never press it: it is Venom's only synergy (+14% per hard level).
  • Dragon Flight's cooldown drops from 2 seconds to 1 second at level 24 (soft points count). TDL pushes it there for mapping.
  • Count your shadows: base 1, +1 from Whispering Mirage, +1 from the full Natalya's Odium set (wiki). TDL: more blades on screen = more poison uptime.
  • Poison skill damage applies on every hit (wiki), so Venom Grip's 10-15% and poison facets always count, unlike +skills, which only count at cast time.
  • Odealo: Crushing Blow, Open Wounds, life leech and chance-to-cast-on-striking do not work through the blades. Don't pay for those stats.
  • For Diablo Clone, wear the hiimpd2 targets: fire resistance 90% plus some fire absorb, and 25% (T0) / 50% (T2) physical damage reduction.

Where to farm

  • Pinnacle bosses: Diablo Clone (Vision of Terror), Rathma (Voidstone), Lucion (Shadow of Hatred): hiimpd2 S14: Easy at T0 and T2 on all three. TDL (T0 Diablo Clone), Guardian (T2 Diablo Clone, T2 Rathma, T2 Lucion), Gico (HC S14 T2 Diablo Clone).
  • Uber Tristram and the mini ubers: hiimpd2 starter tag Uber Tristram; TDL's Uber Tristram video with full Natalya's set.
  • T1-T3 maps (Sewers of Harrogath, Throne of Insanity, Arreat Battlefield, Skovos Stronghold): hiimpd2 Top mapper (Sewers of Harrogath 3:27). TDL Throne of Insanity 5:30 and Arreat Battlefield, Rainbows 'Venom Blade Sentinel 3:31 Skovos', Arcamino T1-T3.
  • Chaos Sanctuary and key bosses (Countess, Summoner, Nihlathak; in PD2 also Blood Raven, Bloodwitch, Izual in Hell): hiimpd2 starter tags: Chaos and Key Farming.
  • Uber Ancients: Arcamino's S12 showcase includes an Uber Ancients kill.

Hardcore

The build has a strong HC record. AnderwGG took a fresh HC SSF Venom Sentinel from level 1 to the ubers, then gave himself 50 maps to prepare for T0 Diablo Clone (S12). Ruffales killed T0 and T1 Diablo Clone on HC. Gico killed T2 Diablo Clone in HC S14 (2026-10-25) and mentions max cold resistance on Shaftstop when the third nova waves start. What keeps you alive: you fight at range; shadows (up to 3) and the merc take aggro; the full Natalya's set gives 20% PDR, +40 all res and 8% life steal (from your own melee hits, not the blades); Verdungo's/String of Ears add PDR; Weapon Block at 45%+ (TDL). On HC, finish Natalya's set before ubers, keep cannot be frozen (Raven Frost) and overcap resistances for Rathma and Lucion as hiimpd2 lists. The respec-from-traps leveling route is the same as the class guide, so the class guide's HC notes apply.

09FAQ

About this build

How does the Venom version actually deal damage?
Venom adds poison to your weapon hits. Blade Sentinel deals 100% weapon damage, so every blade hit (every 5 frames) and every turnaround explosion carries the Venom poison. Poison lasts 1 second and is reapplied constantly while blades pass. Your Shadow Warriors bind Blade Sentinel too and (since S14) cast Venom themselves, so their blades apply their own poison instance (TDL: as pets their poison stacks with yours). More shadows and more blades on the target mean more uptime. The physical part of the blades is a bonus.
Why put 20 points in Cobra Strike if I never use it?
Cobra Strike is Venom's only synergy: +14% poison damage per hard level (data/wiki). 20 points = +280%, almost 4 times the base. Example (approximate): Venom level 20 base is 631-656 poison per second; with 20 Cobra Strike it is about 2,400-2,500. Shadows snapshot your synergies when summoned (wiki S11 note).
Why does Hiim's starter planner have 20 Shadow Warrior and only 1 Blade Sentinel?
In the starter build the damage is Venom poison, not blade damage, so one point of Blade Sentinel is enough to deliver it. The shadow's Venom and Sentinel level is (Shadow Warrior level / 3) + (skill level / 2), so hard points in Shadow Warrior directly raise the shadow's poison. In the endgame planner, Whispering Mirage, Natalya's set and 9 Mentalist's grand charms give enough + skills that Hiim moves those points into Blade Sentinel and Blade Fury instead (more AR and physical damage).
Why pre-buff with a weapon switch?
The wiki says Venom's poison damage is calculated from base damage and synergies when you cast it. Casting it with Call to Arms + Lidless Wall (Hiim's switch, +1 all skills each, plus Battle Orders) adds +2 Venom levels that stay after you swap back. Guardian notes a pair of +Venom 'pre-buff claws' on switch is better still. Poison skill damage % (Venom Grip, facets) applies on each hit, so it does not need the switch.
Do life leech, Crushing Blow and procs work with Blade Sentinel?
Odealo (pre-S14): no. Crushing Blow, Open Wounds, leech and chance to cast on striking do not work through Blade Sentinel. So the Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword's Poison Nova proc and Natalya's life steal only work on your own direct attacks. Survive with PDR, Vitality and blocking instead.
Venom or physical Blade Sentinel?
Venom. hiimpd2's S14 solo list rates Blade Sentinel (Venom) Top and Blade Sentinel (Phys) Decent. The physical version (Hiim's 'Blade Sentinel (Phys)' planner, Odealo's guide) maxes Blade Sentinel, Blade Fury and Blade Shield plus Claw and Dagger Mastery. It uses a high-ED crafted claw, Whispering Mirage, Chains of Honor, Veil of Steel, Highlord's Wrath, Entrapping grand charms and an Act 2 Defiance merc with The Reaper's Toll, and it scales weapon damage and Deadly Strike. It has no poison immunity problem but needs much more expensive gear. On hiimpd2's group list the physical Blade Sentinel is Mid ('Stalker's Cull for speed').
How do I handle poison immunes?
-poison resistance from the Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword, Venom Ward and poison facets (PD2 applies resistance reduction at half effectiveness on immunes). TDL uses a Lower Resist proc merc (Act 1 with Pus Spitter), and Joe's S14 beta video uses an Act 5 merc with Madness (Sur Rune + Mal Rune + Vex Rune + Shael Rune). The blades' physical damage is a slow fallback. See the Immunities section.
Is Blade Sentinel a good league starter?
hiimpd2 puts it on the S14 starter list (tags: Chaos Sanctuary, early maps, key farming, Uber Tristram) with a clvl 78 base planner: two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword claws, Venom Grip, Venom Ward. AnderwGG's fresh HC SSF run (S12) took it from level 1 to the ubers, followed by a 50-map preparation for T0 Diablo Clone. The catch is that the core runeword needs Mal Rune (clvl 49), so it is a 'day 2' starter after you level with traps.
Do I need the full Natalya's set?
It is the standard Venom gear (TDL, Hiim). The full set gives +2 Assassin skills, +40 all res, 20% PDR, 8% life/mana steal and one extra shadow. Natalya's Shadow adds +2-3 Shadow Disciplines and sockets. Before that, the starter setup with two Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune claws already works (Hiim's base planner).
Which mercenary should I use?
Hiim: Act 3 Lightning (Static Field; S14 adds -8% max life) with Skyfall, Exile, Ondal's Almighty and Innocence (Gul Rune + Lem Rune + Zod Rune + Hel Rune). TDL mapping: Act 2 Defiance with Purity, Ondal's Almighty and Shaftstop. TDL bossing: Act 1 Vigor with Pus Spitter (Lower Resist). They are all defensive or debuff mercs, because your poison does the damage.
How many Blade Sentinels can I have out?
The S14 skill data allows up to 15 blades per caster (Skills.txt petmax 15), and since S1 they no longer count towards the trap limit (wiki). In practice you spam them; each lasts about 2 seconds of patrol. Your shadows place their own.
Does this build level differently from the Wake of Fire leveling guide?
Yes, after clvl ~49. Venom Sentinel shares almost nothing with the fire-trap route except Burst of Speed, Claw and Dagger Mastery, Psychic Hammer and Cloak of Shadows. So you level with the class guide and respec once when you have Tal Rune-Dol Rune-Mal Rune runeword claws. No community source gives a dedicated level-1 Venom Sentinel route.

Leveling questions

Is this the usual way to level an Assassin?
Yes - Fire Blast into Wake of Fire is the standard trap-leveling route (Maxroll's plan, Odealo's PD2 Wake of Fire guide). The only PD2-specific change is that you do not need the Nightmare respec, because Wake of Fire is Top tier at S14 endgame (hiimpd2).
Why five points in Burst of Speed so early?
It is part of the standard route (Maxroll) and in PD2 its attack speed only comes from hard points. Attack speed sets your trap-laying and Fire Blast speed.
Do I need FCR?
No. Odealo: FCR is not important for this build; trap laying speed is determined by attack speed.
Which merc?
Act 2 with Insight while leveling (Odealo). For endgame Hiim's planners use an Act 2 Desert Guard with Infinity (Defiance or Blessed Aim); his budget planner uses an Act 1 Vigor Rogue with Pus Spitter.
Where do I get Tal Rune and Eth Rune for Stealth?
Normal Countess is the easiest repeatable source (Odealo); you can also cube 3 Ith Rune -> Tal Rune and 3 Nef Rune -> Eth Rune.
How do I handle fire immunes while leveling?
Let the merc kill them or skip them; later Shock Web 20 (lightning, in Hiim's planner), Pus Spitter's Lower Resist and Infinity's Conviction cover them.
Should I respec to Lightning Sentry like D2R guides say?
Only if you want a lightning endgame. In PD2 S14 Wake of Fire is rated Top while Chain Lightning Sentry is Good (hiimpd2).

General PD2 questions

How do I respec: Akara or a Token of Absolution?
Akara: after you finish Den of Evil, Akara offers one free full respec (skills and stats) per difficulty. Use the Normal one right after switching from your leveling build. Respeccing early is fine because you get more chances later.
Token of Absolution: cube one of each of the four essences:
In PD2 the essences drop in Nightmare and Hell at the same rates, and they stack in the materials tab. Right-click the token to reset all skill and stat points. Tokens are also easy to buy from other players, so a respec is rarely a big deal. Experiment with builds freely.
Which mercenary should I hire?
PD2 reworked every merc. They have the same stats whichever difficulty you hire them in, and they all wear helm, armor, gloves, boots and belt. The PD2 merc table:
  • Act 1 Rogue: Fire (Vigor aura), Cold (Meditation), Physical (Slow Movement). Bows and crossbows.
  • Act 2 Desert Guard: Defensive (Defiance), Offensive (Blessed Aim), Combat (Thorns). Polearms, spears and javelins; one-handed weapons do double damage. There is no Might, Prayer or Holy Freeze Act 2 merc in PD2.
  • Act 3 Iron Wolf: Fire (Cleansing), Cold (Prayer), Lightning (Holy Shock plus Static Field, which Season 14 reduced to 8% life).
  • Act 4 Ascendant (new): Dark (casts Amplify Damage), Light (Sanctuary). Staves.
  • Act 5 Barbarian: Combat (Might), Warcries (Battle Orders plus Battle Cry).
The usual default is an Act 2 Defiance merc in Insight (mana, and survives well). Physical builds love Might or Battle Orders, and casters often like Act 3 Cold for Prayer. Season 14 mercs get full XP from your kills, so they keep up easily.
What are breakpoints and which ones matter?
Diablo 2 animations run in whole frames, so Faster Cast Rate (FCR), Faster Hit Recovery (FHR), Faster Block Rate and Increased Attack Speed only help once you reach the next threshold. Anything between thresholds is wasted. PD2 uses the vanilla FCR tables, for example:
  • Sorceress FCR: 0/9/20/37/63/105/200. Frozen Orb and Chain Lightning use a slower table, 0/7/15/23/35/52/78/117/194.
  • Paladin and Necromancer FCR: 0/9/18/30/48/75/125.
For most casters, 105% (Sorceress) or 75% (Paladin and Necromancer) is the main target. Get one or two FHR breakpoints for survival, such as 42-60% on a Sorceress. PD2 attack mechanics differ from vanilla: Whirlwind ignores IAS and hits at fixed intervals, Berserk uses Frenzy breakpoints, and item IAS has diminishing returns. Use the PD2 wiki breakpoint tables or an S14-aware planner for your class and weapon. Check a breakpoint before paying a lot for 5% more FCR.
How does corruption with Worldstone Shards work?
Put an item and a Worldstone Shard in the cube and transmute. The result depends on the item:
  • Normal (white/grey) items without sockets: 50% they gain sockets (up to the base maximum), 50% they become a random rare.
  • Magic, rare, set or unique items that can have sockets (helm, chest, shield, weapon, quiver): 25% sockets (1-3 on armor, 2-4 on one-handed weapons, 3-6 on two-handed), 50% a corruption modifier, 25% "brick" into a random rare of the same type.
  • Items that cannot have sockets (gloves, boots, belt, ring, amulet): 75% a corruption modifier, 25% brick.
Modifiers come in low, mid and high rarity tiers. High-rarity rolls are things like +1 all skills or 20% FCR on chests, +1 all skills on weapons, helms and shields, or +15% FRW on boots. A corrupted item can never be corrupted again, but most other recipes still work on it, including Puzzleboxes for sockets afterwards. Runewords count as regular socketed items and can't be corrupted. Make the base corrupt first.
What should I corrupt, and in which order?
Corrupt items where a 25% brick doesn't hurt much and a good roll is worth a lot:
  • Runeword bases before you socket them. A white 0-socket base has a 50% chance to get max sockets, so it is the cheap way to make Spirit shields, Insight polearms or 4-socket armor. A bricked white base costs almost nothing.
  • Duplicate uniques or sets, or cheap ones you have spares of. Aim for sockets or high-rarity modifiers.
  • Rings, amulets, gloves, boots and belts that are good but replaceable: 75% to gain a modifier.
  • Annihilus uses the special Tainted Worldstone Shard from Rathma, not a normal shard.
For socketable uniques, the community advice is to corrupt first and Puzzlebox second. Shards are cheaper than Puzzleboxes, and boxing first doesn't lower the 25% brick chance, so you'd risk losing the box. Never corrupt your only copy of a build-defining item unless you can afford to lose it.
How do I reroll grand charms (or any magic item)?
Cube a magic item + 3 perfect gems (any type) to get a new magic item of the same base with the same item level and fresh random affixes. This is how players hunt skillers: grand charms with +1 to a class skill tab, ideally with life or faster hit recovery too. You can also reroll small and large charms or magic jewels. Notes:
  • The item level never drops, so a high-ilvl grand charm (for example from Hell or maps) can be rerolled endlessly. A low-ilvl one can't roll high-tier affixes no matter how often you try.
  • The recipe doesn't work on corrupted items or maps.
  • Perfect gems drop only in Hell, but 3 flawless gems cube into a perfect (no key in Season 14), and chipped gems slowly upgrade too.
  • Rares use a different recipe: rare + 3 Perfect Skulls makes a new rare, but at a lower item level (0.4 x clvl + 0.4 x ilvl).
How do maps work, and what do I need to open one?
Maps are PD2's endgame zones. To open one you need a level 80+ character who has killed the Hell Ancients. Right-click the map in your inventory while in Harrogath in Hell. Only one map or uber zone can be opened per game. The tiers:
  • Tier 1: area level 87
  • Tier 2: area level 88
  • Tier 3: area level 89
  • Tier 4 (dungeons): area level 92, made from a T3 map with a Horadrim Scarab and meant for strong groups
Your first maps come from Anya's Hell reward, rare drops in Hell and Nightmare Act 5, and corrupted zones. After that, maps mostly drop inside maps, with a chance of higher-tier maps. Each map has affixes that add density, experience and magic/gold find, plus monster modifiers. Before opening a map, check its immunities against your build. Map events (11% on normal, 22% magic, 33% rare maps) add bonus content such as the Treasure Fallen, the Dark Wanderer (extra Worldstone Shards) or Shadow of Mendeln (Splinter of the Void).
How do I get to Uber Tristram and get a Hellfire Torch?
1. Collect keys in Hell. Each key comes from two bosses in PD2:
The Spire of Darkness map event also drops keys.
2. Open a mini-uber portal. In Hell Harrogath, cube one of each key. Kill the mini uber for its organ: Lilith in Matron's Den drops Diablo's Horn, Uber Duriel in Forgotten Sands drops Baal's Eye, and Uber Izual in Furnace of Pain drops Mephisto's Brain.
3. Make the Pandemonium Talisman. Cube the three organs into a Pandemonium Talisman and use it at the Blood Fountain. Your pre-buffs are removed when you enter Uber Tristram, and you get three extra re-entries. Uber Mephisto has -50% Conviction, and Uber Baal casts a strong Lower Resist. Killing the last prime evil drops a Hellfire Torch and a Black Soulstone, which is a Diablo Clone ingredient.

10Season 14 changes

Approximate, S13 -> S14 (PD2 wiki Patch Notes, hiimpd2 Season 14 page):
  • Blade Sentinel, Venom and Cobra Strike: no changes. Blade Sentinel was last changed in S13 (smaller area damage, no death explosion), Venom in S12 (synergy 12% -> 14%). Damage per Venom level is the same as S13.
  • Shadow Warrior now casts your active Assassin buffs by itself (Venom, Burst of Speed, Fade, Blade Shield), and the tooltip shows how shadow skills scale. Before, the shadow needed to cast its own buffs. Example: Shadow Warrior 30 + Venom 40 gives the shadow Venom at about 30/3 + 40/2 = 30. Venom 30 is 1193-1218 base poison per second (wiki), times 3.8 with 20 Cobra Strike = about 4,500-4,600 per shadow poison instance (approximate, before -res and poison skill damage).
  • Whispering Mirage: +2 Shadow Warrior/Shadow Master is now +1-2, and -5 to -8% physical resistance pierce is now -5%. A bad roll costs about 1 Shadow Warrior level, which is about 1/3 shadow skill level.
  • Shadow (+3 Shadow Disciplines) can now roll on dropped rare claws (and non-throwing daggers). That gives cheap Venom/Shadow Warrior offhands and pre-buff switches.
  • Act 3 lightning merc: Static Field now also reduces maximum life by 8%, but its targeting range dropped from 22 to 16. That helps Hiim's Skyfall merc on bosses.
  • Mage Slayer gained +1 Assassin skills (hiimpd2 S14 page). Blade Fury: Claw and Dagger Mastery now applies (helps the physical version; for Venom, Blade Fury is only a synergy).
  • Bug fix 'bleed and poison from different sources overriding each other'. How this interacts with shadow poison instances is not documented.
  • Assassin mana per Energy 1.75 -> 2 (irrelevant with 0 Energy). Player pets got a longer leash distance.
